Frank Silva Biography
Frank A. Silva (October 31, 1950 – September 13, 1995) was an American set dresser and occasional actor best known for his role as the evil spirit Killer BOB in the TV series Twin Peaks. Silva had a degree in lighting design from San Francisco State University and worked as a prop master and set decorator on films including David Lynch's Dune and Wild at Heart. He was discovered by Lynch on the set of Twin Peaks and was asked to portray a scene where he crouched at the foot of Laura Palmer's bed, which eventually became iconic. Silva's portrayal of Killer BOB became one of the most memorable aspects of the show.
