Frank Todaro

Frank Todaro (born Francesco Todaro, July 15, 1889 – November 29, 1944) was an Italian-American mobster and the boss of the New Orleans crime family in 1944. He was born in San Cipirello, Sicily, and immigrated to the United States with his brothers in 1907, settling in New Orleans. Todaro married Nancy Giamalva in 1914 and had two sons and two daughters. He served as the underboss of the New Orleans Mafia and became the boss after the death of Corrado Giacona. Todaro held the position for four months until his own demise. Carlos Marcello, who later became the family's boss, married Todaro's niece, Jacqueline Todaro.
