Frank Trigg (born May 7, 1972) is an American retired mixed martial artist, color commentator, pro wrestler, MMA referee, and TV host. He is well-known for his appearances in the UFC, Pride Fighting Championships, BAMMA, World Fighting Alliance, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Trigg began his martial arts journey in 1995, studying judo under Sensei Patrick Burris. He earned his first black belt and discovered the world of Mixed Martial Arts during his training. Trigg was a high school state champion wrestler in New York and wrestled at Oklahoma State University before transferring to Phoenix College. He later received a scholarship from the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Public Affairs and Administration. Trigg also served as an assistant coach for the Sooners after graduation.
