Frankie Darro, born Frank Johnson, Jr. on December 22, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois, was an American actor and stuntman. He started as a child actor in silent films and went on to play lead and co-starring roles in adventure, western, dramatic, and comedy films. Later in his career, he became a character actor and voice-over artist. One of his most notable roles was as Lampwick in Walt Disney's Pinocchio (1940). Darro's last name was initially spelled Darrow in early credits. He was born into a family of circus performers, known as The Flying Johnsons, who specialized in acrobatics and tightrope walking.
