Frankie Wilson
Frankie Wilson (26 July 1970 – 28 October 2022) was an Irish Gaelic footballer, footballer, and manager. He played for clubs such as Crewe United, Cliftonville, Carrick Rangers, Ballyclare Comrades, Larne, Omagh Town, and Bangor. Wilson also represented Lámh Dhearg and the Antrim senior football team. He joined Lámh Dhearg at the age of 17 and was part of their first-ever Antrim MFC title-winning team in 1988. Wilson won an Antrim SFC title in 1992 and also played for the Antrim senior football team for about a decade. In addition to his Gaelic football career, he played as a semi-professional footballer primarily in midfield. Wilson later became the manager of Bangor and led the club to victory in the Steel & Sons Cup in 2011.
