Fred Norris, born Eric Fred Norris on July 9, 1955, is an American radio personality known for his long tenure on The Howard Stern Show. Norris first crossed paths with Howard Stern while working at WCCC-FM, a radio station in Hartford, Connecticut. He is the son of Valija Kronberg and Henry Nukis, Latvian immigrants, and was raised in Manchester, Connecticut. Norris had a troubled upbringing, with his parents' turbulent marriage and his father's alcohol problem. As a result, he spent much of his early childhood alone, finding solace in reading books. Today, Norris is recognized as one of the key members of The Howard Stern Show staff, second only to Stern himself in terms of tenure.
