Freeman King Biography
Freeman King (June 1, 1943 – June 1, 2002) was an American comedian known for his appearances in various television shows and films. He gained recognition for his performances on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, a popular variety show. King also showcased his comedic talent in movies such as Fletch, Dance Fever, Under The Rainbow, and The Buddy Holly Story. Working alongside comedian Murray Langston, King became a regular performer on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, following a recommendation from Redd Foxx. Sadly, King passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 59 due to a heart attack.
