French Tickner Biography
French Tickner (August 26, 1930 – August 26, 2021) was an American-born Canadian voice, film, and television actor. He is best known for his work in Ocean Productions. Tickner lent his voice to numerous animated characters, including Quillish 'Watari' Wammy in Death Note, Alfred in Black Lagoon, and Santa in Pucca and Powerpuff Girls Z. He also portrayed characters such as Honinbo Kuwabara in Hikaru no Go, Bulkhead in Transformers: Energon, and Grandmaster in Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes. Additionally, Tickner provided voice work in popular shows like Inuyasha, Krypto the Superdog, and Martha Speaks. He passed away on his 91st birthday in 2021.
