Fyvush Finkel Biography
Fyvush Finkel was an American actor known for his work in Yiddish theater and his roles on television. Born on October 9, 1922, in Brooklyn, New York, Finkel began his acting career at the age of 9 and performed in Yiddish theaters for almost 35 years. He gained recognition for his role as lawyer Douglas Wambaugh on the TV series Picket Fences, which earned him an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1994. Finkel also portrayed the character Harvey Lipschultz on the TV series Boston Public. Throughout his career, Finkel showcased his talent on both stage and screen, leaving a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.
