Herbert Randall Wright III, known by his stage name G Herbo, is an American rapper from Chicago. Born on October 8, 1995, he gained popularity with mixtapes like Welcome to Fazoland (2014), Pistol P Project (2014), Ballin Like I'm Kobe (2015), and Strictly 4 My Fans (2016). In 2017, he released his debut album, Humble Beast, followed by Swervo (2018), a collaboration with Southside. G Herbo's albums, including PTSD (2020), 25 (2021), and Survivor's Remorse (2022), have achieved success on the Billboard 200. He is signed to Machine Entertainment Group and Republic Records. G Herbo dropped out of Hyde Park Academy High School and draws inspiration from artists like Meek Mill, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, and Lil Wayne. He shares a close bond with fellow rapper Lil Bibby.
