Gabe Saporta

Gabriel Eduardo Saporta, born on October 11, 1979, is an Uruguayan-American musician and entrepreneur. He gained prominence as the lead vocalist and founder of the electropop band Cobra Starship from 2005 to 2015. With two Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, Saporta decided to disband Cobra Starship in 2015 and focus on supporting other musicians through his new venture, The Artist Group. Before Cobra Starship, Saporta was the lead singer, bassist, and lyricist for the punk band Midtown. Saporta was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and his family, who is Jewish, immigrated to Uruguay during World War II. At a young age, Saporta found solace in music and developed a passion for its ability to convey messages.
