Gabriel Barre

Gabriel Barre (born August 26, 1957) is an American director and actor known for his work in creating original musicals. He has directed productions on Broadway and across the United States, as well as internationally on four continents. Originally from Brattleboro, Vermont, Barre was raised in Burlington. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and later became a member of the Richard Morse Mime Theatre. With the company, he performed at Lincoln Center and toured the United States, including cultural ambassador performances in the Middle East. Barre has made significant contributions to the world of theater with his innovative and creative approach to storytelling.
