Gaia Girace

Gaia Girace (born 21 October 2003) is an Italian actress. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Raffaella 'Lila' Cerullo in the HBO series My Brilliant Friend. Girace, raised in Vico Equense, Naples, comes from a family with a legal and insurance background. She attended the Liceo Classico Publio Virgilio and was cast in My Brilliant Friend during her first year. At the age of 13, Girace began acting classes to express herself better. After undergoing 7 months of auditions, she was selected out of 10,000 girls to play the role of Lila Cerullo in the series.
