Gareth David-Lloyd Biography
Gareth David-Lloyd (born 28 March 1981) is a Welsh actor and writer best known for his role as Ianto Jones in the British science fiction series Torchwood. He was born in Bettws, Newport and began his acting career in junior school plays. As a teenager, he joined the Gwent Young People's Theatre and The Dolman Youth Theatre, where he performed in plays like Macbeth and Henry V. Gareth studied Performing Arts at Crosskeys College in South Wales. In addition to his acting career, David-Lloyd is also the lead vocalist for the progressive metal band Blue Gillespie. He continues to be active in both acting and music.
