Gary Calamar

Gary Calamar is an American film and television music supervisor. He has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and has worked on notable projects such as The Man In The High Castle, Six Feet Under, True Blood, House, Weeds, Entourage, Dexter, and Varsity Blues. Calamar is also a songwriter and recording artist. Born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, NY, Calamar developed a passion for music and radio at a young age. He was a dedicated listener of WNEW-FM and admired DJs like Scott Muni, Pete Fornatelle, Allison Steel 'The Night Bird', and Dave Herman. Calamar moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, where he pursued his career in music and made a name for himself as a music supervisor.
