Gary Hershberger

Gary Hershberger (born April 5, 1964) is an American actor and screenwriter. He is best known for his television roles as Mike Nelson in Twin Peaks (1989–1991; 2017) and Matthew Gilardi on Six Feet Under (2001–2002). Hershberger was born in Inglewood, California and studied history and communication at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has appeared in various feature films including Paradise Motel, My Man Adam, Free Ride, and Burglar. Additionally, Hershberger has been part of TV movies such as Into the Homeland and Perry Mason: The Case of the Silenced Singer. He has also appeared in the IMAX documentary Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D.
