Gary Oldman

Gary Leonard Oldman (born March 21, 1958) is an English actor and filmmaker. With a versatile and intense acting style, Oldman has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and three British Academy Film Awards. His films have grossed over $11 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing actors in history. Oldman began his acting career in theatre in 1979 before making his film debut in Remembrance (1982). He gained prominence in British film with roles such as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy (1986) and Joe Orton in Prick Up Your Ears (1987). Oldman is widely recognized for his role in the television film The Firm (1989) and has been regarded as a member of the 'Brit Pack.'
