Gary Owens (May 10, 1934 – February 12, 2015) was an American disc jockey, voice actor, announcer, and radio personality. He gained popularity for his polished baritone speaking voice and deadpan recitations of total nonsense, showcased as the announcer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. Owens was known for his versatile talent, excelling in both serious and comedic roles. He provided the voices of Space Ghost in the eponymous superhero show and Blue Falcon in Dynomutt, Dog Wonder. Owens also portrayed himself in a cameo on Space Ghost Coast to Coast in 1998. He began his career as the voice of Roger Ramjet on the Roger Ramjet cartoons and later served as the announcer of Antenna TV. Owens was born in Mitchell, South Dakota to parents Venetta and Bernard Altman.
