He is best known for his roles in movies and TV shows such as Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, CSI: NY, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Sinise has received several awards for his work, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Additionally, he has been nominated for an Academy Award. Sinise is also known for his extensive humanitarian work and involvement with charitable organizations. He is a supporter of various veterans' organizations and founded the Lt. Dan Band, which performs at military bases worldwide.
