Gary Vaynerchuk

Gary Vaynerchuk, born Gennady Vaynerchuk on November 14, 1975, is an American businessman, author, speaker, and internet personality. He is widely known as Gary Vee and has made significant contributions in various fields. Vaynerchuk co-founded Resy, a restaurant reservation software company, and Empathy Wines. Initially recognized as a wine critic, he expanded his family's wine business and later gained fame for his expertise in digital marketing and social media. Currently, Vaynerchuk serves as the chairman of VaynerX, a communication company based in New York, and also as the CEO of its subsidiary, VaynerMedia. He was born in Babruysk, Soviet Union (now Belarus), and immigrated to New York City in 1978. Vaynerchuk is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent and grew up in Queens, New York, before moving to Edison, New Jersey. At the age of 14, he began working in his family's retail-wine business.
