Gavin Houston

Gavin Alexander Houston (born December 10, 1977) is an American actor known for his roles in television soap operas. He gained recognition for playing the character Jeffrey Harrington on the Oprah Winfrey Network's primetime soap opera, The Haves and the Have Nots, from 2013 to 2021. Prior to this, he portrayed Remy Boudreau on the CBS daytime soap opera Guiding Light from 2002 to 2006. Houston was born in Brooklyn and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He started his acting career as a child actor, appearing in commercials and an episode of The Cosby Show. He studied at the Manhattan Theatre Club after graduating from the University of Florida. Houston has also made appearances on General Hospital, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Without a Trace.
