Gavin Lee Biography
Gavin Lee is an English actor known for his work in musical theatre. He was born on October 15, 1971. Lee gained recognition for his portrayal of Bert in the musical Mary Poppins, both in the West End and on Broadway. He also appeared as Squidward Tentacles in the original Broadway cast of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical. Lee is an alumnus of the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts and has been involved in various musicals as a performer and choreographer. In addition to his stage work, Lee appeared in the dance play Contact in the West End. His critically acclaimed performance as Bert in the West End production of Mary Poppins led to his selection for the Broadway role.
