Gaynor Faye

Gaynor Kay Mellor, known professionally as Gaynor Faye, is an English actress and writer. Born on August 26, 1971, in Leeds, Faye is the daughter of TV scriptwriter Kay Mellor and Anthony Mellor. She gained recognition for her roles as Judy Mallett in Coronation Street (1995-1999) and Megan Macey in Emmerdale (2012-2019). Faye has also appeared in various TV shows including Playing the Field, Fat Friends, Between the Sheets, and Stan the Man. She has written two episodes of Fat Friends as well. In 2006, Faye won the first season of Dancing on Ice. Additionally, she starred as Anna Williams Bedford in The Chase, a series co-written by her mother. Faye has also released an exercise routine video based on her Dancing on Ice experience.
