Geff Francis, born in 1964, is a British actor known for his roles in various films and TV shows. In the 1988 drama film 'For Queen and Country,' he portrayed Lynford, a hoodlum. He also appeared as the title character in Channel Four's 'Zastrozzi, A Romance' in 1986 and had a minor role in 'The Singing Detective.' Geff Francis gained popularity for his portrayal of Michael, the eldest son, in the comedy series 'Desmond's' from 1989 to 1994, which led to his role in the spin-off series 'Porkpie' from 1995 to 1996. He has since become a regular character actor on British television, playing roles such as Metropolitan Police desk sergeant Viv James in the TV series 'Ashes to Ashes' from 2008 to 2010. Geff Francis also appeared in the 2013 episode of 'Doctor Who' titled 'The Bells of Saint John' and played Admiral Frantis Griss, a minor antagonist, in the 2019 film 'Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.'
