Gene Stupnitsky
Gene Stupnitsky (born August 26, 1977) is a Ukrainian-born American film and television writer and producer. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and attended Stevenson High School. Stupnitsky is best known for his work on the NBC sitcom The Office, where he served as a writer, director, and producer from 2005 to 2010, earning three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. He also co-created, wrote, and produced the HBO comedy series Hello Ladies (2013-2014) and co-created the upcoming series Jury Duty with Lee Eisenberg. Stupnitsky has further contributed to Hollywood Studio comedy films, writing Year One (2009) and Bad Teacher (2011), and directing Good Boys (2019) and the upcoming film No Hard Feelings (2023).
