Geoffrey Lower

Geoffrey Lower (born March 19, 1963) is an American former actor known for his roles on television shows. He gained recognition for playing Reverend Timothy Johnson on the CBS-TV series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Lower also appeared as Alan, Monica Geller's boyfriend, in the Friends episode 'The One With the Thumb'. Lower grew up in Casper, Wyoming, and pursued his education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Juilliard School. Besides his television work, Lower has also been involved in contemporary theater productions, including 'What Doesn't Kill Us', 'There's One in Every Marriage', and 'The Marrieds'. He has made guest appearances on various TV series and appeared in films alongside notable actors.
