Geoffrey Owens

Geoffrey Owens (born March 18, 1961) is an American actor known for his role as Elvin Tibideaux on The Cosby Show (1985–1992). He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Ethel and Major Owens. Owens attended the High School of Performing Arts and graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1983. He began his acting career with a performance in Peter Pan during his high school years. In 1985, Owens made his television debut on The Cosby Show as Elvin Tibideaux, Sondra Huxtable's boyfriend. Owens has since appeared in various TV shows and films, showcasing his talent as an actor.
