Georg Hólm

Georg Hólm is an Icelandic musician and bassist, best known as a founding member of the post-rock band Sigur Rós. Born on April 2, 1976, in Reykjavík, Iceland, Hólm formed Sigur Rós in 1994 along with his schoolmates Jón Þór Birgisson and Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson. He has been an integral part of the band's success, contributing to their unique sound and atmospheric compositions. In addition to his work with Sigur Rós, Hólm has also collaborated with various artists and participated in side projects.
