George DelHoyo Biography
George DelHoyo (born November 23, 1953), also known as George Deloy, is a Uruguayan-born American actor. Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he began his acting career in New York City during the 1970s. He performed in plays and musicals at major American regional theaters, including Seattle Repertory, American Conservatory Theater, Old Globe Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum, and Huntington Theatre. In 1978, he moved to Los Angeles and became a contract player for Universal Studios. DelHoyo's early television roles include Bert in 'The Eddie Capra Mysteries' and Dr. Gilbert Kent on 'The Young and the Restless'. He has appeared in numerous television shows and movies throughout his career.
