George Dzundza
George Dzundza is an American television and film actor. Born on July 19, 1945, in Rosenheim, Germany, he is the son of Ukrainian father Roman Dzundza and Polish mother Maria Humenecka. During World War II, his parents were forced into factory labor by the Nazis, and he spent his early years in displaced persons camps. In 1949, the family moved to Amsterdam before settling in New York City in 1956. Dzundza attended Xavier High School and St. Johns University, studying under Stella Adler and Harold Clurman. His professional acting career began with a 1973 New York Shakespeare Festival production of King Lear. He also starred in the 1981 sitcom series Open All Night.
