    George N. Neise Biography
    George N. Neise (February 16, 1917 – April 14, 1996) was an American character actor known for his appearances in over 120 films and television shows from 1942 to 1978. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Neise studied finance at the University of Wisconsin before pursuing a career in acting. He began by playing soldier roles in war-themed films and acted in radio programs in Chicago. Neise also worked in stock theater with the Peninsula Players and had Broadway credits. During World War II, he served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Neise later became a sought-after character actor, portraying various roles ranging from Greek kings to airline pilots. One of his notable performances was in The Three Stooges feature film, where he played the dual role of Ralph Dimsal and Odius.
