Georgia Hubley

Georgia Hubley is an American percussionist, vocalist, and visual artist. She is a founding member of the indie rock band Yo La Tengo, formed in 1984. Hubley is married to the group's guitarist/vocalist Ira Kaplan and they reside in New Jersey. Along with her musical contributions as the band's drummer and vocalist, she also designs covers for their releases. Hubley occasionally plays guitar, keyboard, and drum machine on their recordings. She is the daughter of UPA Studios animators John Hubley and Faith Elliott Hubley, and the sister of Emily Hubley.
