Georgia May King is a Scottish actress, born on November 18, 1986, in Edinburgh. She is the daughter of Australian actor Jonathan Hyde and Scottish opera singer Isobel Buchanan. King initially aspired to be a director but got her break in acting at 18, making her professional debut as Rosamond Oliver in Jane Eyre. Despite a setback due to an appendix rupture, she recovered in time and filmed the role. King is best known for her role as Goldie, a surrogate mother in the American sitcom The New Normal. She has also appeared in other TV shows and movies, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.
