Geraldine Hughes Biography
Geraldine Hughes is a Belfast-born actress known for her roles in films such as Duplex, Rocky Balboa, and Gran Torino. Born in West Belfast in 1970, Hughes grew up in the Divis Flats during The Troubles. To escape the difficult times, she participated in her school's drama club. After being selected for a role in the film Children in the Crossfire, Hughes spent her first summer in the United States. Despite having no prior acting experience, she accepted the role of Mary in the movie. Hughes also portrayed Mary Todd Lincoln in Killing Lincoln and has recently performed a solo play titled Belfast Blues, which she wrote herself.
