Gerard James Pertwee Horan (born 11 November 1962) is a British actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for playing the character Terry Seymour, the leader of the DMDC (Danebury Metal Detectoring Club), in the Bafta award-winning comedy drama Detectorists. Horan also portrayed Firefighter Leslie 'Charisma' Appleby in the television series London's Burning from 1986 to 1989 and again in 1994. Some of his notable appearances include My Beautiful Laundrette (1985), The Singing Detective (1986), and Much Ado About Nothing (1993). With a diverse range of roles throughout his career, Horan has showcased his talent and versatility as an actor.
