Gerard Monaco is a British actor who trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He made his film debut in Mike Leigh's Vera Drake and has since appeared in movies such as Bright Star, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Starter for Ten. In the theatre, Monaco made his West End debut in Lindsay Posner's revival of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge. He has also performed at London's National Theatre in productions such as Tennessee Williams's The Rose Tattoo and Rebecca Lenkiewicz's Her Naked Skin.
