Gethin Anthony

Gethin David L. Anthony (born October 9, 1983) is an English television and film actor. He gained recognition for his role as Renly Baratheon in the hit TV series Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2012. Born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, Anthony attended several schools including Ashton Hayes Primary School, Christ Church Primary School, and the Tiffin School. He later studied English Literature at Balliol College, Oxford University, where he also appeared in student productions and served as President of the Oxford University Dramatic Society. Anthony further honed his acting skills at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has also performed in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Boris Godunov in Stratford-upon-Avon.
