Gideon Yago is a writer and former correspondent for MTV News and CBS News. Born on February 19, 1978, in Madison, Wisconsin, Yago grew up in Queens, New York. He attended the Kew-Forest School, where he published a zine called Corpuscle. Yago graduated from Columbia University and started working for MTV News during the 2000 presidential election. Initially a writer, he later produced the MTV News magazine 'The Wrap' on MTV2. Yago then shifted his focus to political reporting, working on documentaries about sex trafficking and the war in Iraq. He has made significant contributions to MTV and is recognized for his work in the field of journalism.
