Gideon Yago is a writer and former correspondent for MTV News and CBS News. Born on February 19, 1978, in Madison, Wisconsin, Yago grew up in Queens, New York. He attended the Kew-Forest School, where he published a zine called Corpuscle. Yago graduated from Columbia University and started working for MTV News during the 2000 presidential election. Initially a writer, he later produced the MTV News magazine 'The Wrap' on MTV2. Yago then shifted his focus to political reporting, working on documentaries about sex trafficking and the war in Iraq.
