Gigi Levangie Biography
Gigi Levangie (born Georgianne Levangie; January 2, 1963) is an American novelist, screenwriter, and television producer. She gained recognition for her work as a screenwriter, with one of her most notable films being Stepmom, starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon. Levangie is also a successful author, with several New York Times best-selling novels under her belt, including The Starter Wife, Maneater, Queen Takes King, and The After Wife. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Levangie grew up in the Eastside of Hollywood. She initially played violin in a junior orchestra before becoming a cheerleader at Hollywood High. She later attended UCLA, majoring in political science, and began her Hollywood career as an intern on a late-night talk show.
