Giles Matthey is a British actor known for his roles in various television series. He was born on 11 November 1987 in Australia to a British father and an Australian mother. Matthey moved to London with his family at the age of 2 and later studied at Harrow School. After developing an interest in acting, he moved to New York City and completed a two-year conservatory program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Matthey's acting career began with a guest appearance on The Good Wife in 2011. He gained recognition for his role as Claude Crane on the HBO series True Blood and also portrayed Gideon on the ABC series Once Upon a Time and Jordan Reed on the FOX series 24: Live Another Day.
