Giles Terera

Giles Terera (born 14 December 1976) is a British actor, musician, and filmmaker. He gained recognition for his work in theatre, particularly for his portrayal of Aaron Burr in the original London production of the musical Hamilton, winning the 2018 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Terera trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and began his career with the National Theatre. He has appeared in various productions, including Troilus and Cressida, Candide, The Darker Face of the Earth, and Honk! Some of his notable appearances include Death and the King's Horseman, The Tempest, The Rat Pack: Live From Las Vegas, and Jailhouse Rock. Terera also directed the documentary film Muse of Fire, which premiered in 2013.
