Gilles Marini

Gilles Marini is a French actor known for his roles in the film Sex and the City, and in the American television shows Brothers & Sisters, Switched at Birth, and Devious Maids. He gained popularity as the runner-up in season 8 of Dancing with the Stars and returned as a contestant in season 15. Marini was born on January 26, 1976, in Grasse, Alpes-Maritimes, France, to a Greek mother and Italian father. Before pursuing acting, he worked as a baker in his father's bakery and served as a fireman in the Paris Fire Brigade while in the French army. Marini started his career as a model before transitioning into acting with his debut television commercial for Bud Light beer.
