Gillian Barber Biography
Gillian Barber (born 22 February 1958) is an English-born Canadian actress. She was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England, and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Barber studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the BFA program at the University of Victoria. She has appeared in various films including The Stepfather, Needful Things, and Jumanji. Barber has also made appearances in popular TV series such as The X-Files and Stargate SG-1. Additionally, she has lent her voice to TV animation projects such as Sabrina: The Animated Series and Adventures from the Book of Virtues. Barber is currently a professor at Capilano University in British Columbia and has been instrumental in creating the Musical Theatre program at the university in 2007.
