Gillian Bevan

Gillian Bevan is an English actress known for her work in British television shows and West End theatre. Born on 13 February 1956, she gained recognition for her roles in various TV series including Holby City, where she portrayed Gina Hope, the wife of a consultant with motor neuron disease. Bevan's performance in the show received critical acclaim. She also played Clare Hunter, the headteacher, in the UK TV series Teachers. In addition to her TV work, Bevan has appeared in numerous West End theatre productions. Notable roles include Dorothy in the Royal Shakespeare Company's revival of The Wizard of Oz. Bevan has also made appearances in other TV series such as Heartbeat, Doctors, New Tricks, and Father Brown.
