Gillian Flynn

Gillian Flynn (born February 24, 1971) is an American author, screenwriter, and producer. She is renowned for her thriller and mystery novels, including Sharp Objects, Dark Places, and Gone Girl. Her works have been published in 40 languages, with Gone Girl selling over 15 million copies. Flynn wrote the screenplay for the highly acclaimed 2014 film adaptation of Gone Girl, earning her the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. She also wrote and produced the HBO limited series adaptation of Sharp Objects, receiving a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
