Gina Hecht
Gina Hecht (born December 6, 1953) is an American actress. Born in Houston, Texas, she decided to pursue acting at the age of ten. After high school, she obtained a degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Hecht gained recognition in 1979 when she was cast as Jeanie DaVinci in the TV series Mork & Mindy. Her first film role was in the 1982 movie Night Shift, directed by Ron Howard. Alongside her work in TV and film, Hecht has also performed on stage. Notably, she appeared in Neil Simon's The Prisoner of Second Avenue in 2011. Hecht had a recurring role as Judge Rachel Lasser on General Hospital from 2015 to 2019. She married writer and actor Brian Herskowitz in 1988.
