Gina Ravera

Gina Ravera is an American actress known for her appearances in various films and television shows. Born in San Francisco, California, Ravera has a mixed African-American and Puerto Rican heritage. She began her career in the early 1990s with guest-starring roles on popular TV shows such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Melrose Place, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. She gained recognition for her role as detective Irene Daniels in the TNT crime drama series The Closer. Ravera has also had notable film roles, including Showgirls, Soul Food, Kiss the Girls, and The Great Debaters. In addition to acting, she is a classically trained dancer.
