Gord Rand

Gord Rand is a Canadian actor and playwright known for his work in both television and film. He gained recognition for his recurring role as Det. Marty Duko in the popular television series Orphan Black, resulting in a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance in a Guest Role in a Dramatic Series in 2017. Gord has also been recognized for his talent in other projects, receiving ACTRA Award nominations for his performances in Orphan Black and the film Man Running. In addition, he won a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 2006 for his outstanding performance in the Royal Alexandra Theatre's production of Michael Healey's The Innocent Eye Test. Gord has also appeared in various other television series such as Everest '82, Durham County, Combat Hospital, Cardinal, Pure, and Chapelwaite, as well as films including Maps to the Stars, The Definites, Mayerthorpe, and An Audience of Chairs. He prefers to keep his personal life private, although it is known that he is a father to one son named Hugh.
