Gordon Gostelow Biography
Gordon Massey Gostelow (14 May 1925 – 3 June 2007) was an Australian actor known for his work in theatre and British television. He was educated at North Sydney Boys High School and Sydney University, where he graduated in Economics. Gostelow moved to England in 1950 and became associated with the Royal Shakespeare Company, with a notable portrayal of the character Bardolph. He played Bardolph in both the television series An Age of Kings (1960) and the BBC Television Shakespeare's version of the Henriad plays (1979). Gostelow also appeared as Perks in the 1968 TV serial The Railway Children, Milo Clancey in the Doctor Who serial The Space Pirates (1969), and the Duke of Medina Sidonia in Elizabeth R (1970).
