    Graeme Hawley is an English actor, born on 24 February 1975. He began his acting career in the theatre after graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in drama in 1996. Hawley has appeared in various television shows, including ITV's Emmerdale as police officer Martin Crowe, Channel 4's Shameless, and ITV's A Touch of Frost. He is best known for his portrayal of John Stape in the long-running soap opera Coronation Street. Hawley played the character from March 2007 to January 2008, returned in June 2008, and again in March 2009. He left the show for good in October 2011 when his character died after confessing to causing...
